Dag Park playing Division Home Cup to Dagenham United 24th Jan 10

Dag Park 2 - 4 Dag United

I was only able to see the first half of this game due to our under 9's match kicking off.

But what i saw from the boys, i thought was worth a mention, as previous games with Dag United we looked a much weaker team.

This game was different the boys still have a way to go but what an improvement.

From a spectators point of view they seemed more in control, the ball was played forward without so much panic, the whole team seemed more composed. As a result of team work two fantastic goals were achieved one from Louis Mackman and the second from Scott Bennett

Well done boys

A game we should have won. Plenty of chances against Senrab making their keeper busy, however it didn't happen, fair effort from all the boys. One goal from Mackman bringing us back into the game was enough to wake up our boys but it was a bit late in the game, also playing its part was the terrible weather RAIN RAIN RAIN.

Playing Home to Cobra C, Sunday 29th November 09.

DPR 5 v Cobra C 2

DPR put on a superb performance in this top of the division clash.  With both teams playing to win DPR just out played Cobra all over the field.  In the 1st minute of the game DPR took the lead with a goal from Bedwell.  Cobra then shortly after came back with an equaliser, then nicked another closely after.  DPR was not going to take this laying down and came back with a goal from Kemp.  Kemp then scored with a superb header from a corner kick.  Another goal came from Sullivan-Sparks and then Kemp finished the scoring with his hatrick.  A good game was played by both set of players.  The DPR defence continued to remain with a solid performance as with the continued strengh in the midfield.

After a few unlucky results against us the players look to be back to winning form.  With rock solid Bobby at the heart of the defence it left goalkeeper Robert with little to do.  With Harrison hitting the crossbar and Tommy hitting the post the scoreline could have been a lot different.  Well done Tommy on your goal and well done to all the boys, you all played well.  Welcome back to winning form.

Dagenham Park Rangers Playing at Home to Leaside Colts 11th April 2010

Last Game of the Season DPR 4 Leaside 0

Our boys went into this game needing at least a draw to be crowned league division champions. They didn't disappoint, in fact they played some of the best 7 a side football that we have seen.

They oozed confidence from the first whistle to the last. All the boys played in this game and not one set a foot wrong, defenders Keiron, Jon, Vinnie and Charlie marked the Leaside attacking players and closed them down perfectly offering Leaside little to no chance at our goal.

Our midfield consisting of Emmanuel, Joe, Kai, Tariq, Brett and Brandon passed the ball around like they have been playing for 20 years what an absolute joy to watch, all these boys were making half a dozen passes or more around the Leaside players so as to set up goal, outstanding.

Strikers for this match fell to Rhys and our man of the match Toba who also played there part in destroying any idea of a battling Leaside come back.

Also well done to Team Captain Daniel for his usual nerves of steel.

Goals 2 Joe 1 Kai 1 Toba.

A fantastic performance against Newbury forest.

Defenders Caines,Cullen,Rolls and Bell limited the Newbury forest attack with some great tackles.

Goal keeper Wheeler pulled off a fantastic save mid way through the first half to keep the home side

at bay. Mid-fielders Saoudi,Hubbard,Oni,Mackman and Smith over ran the newbury forest mid-field with power and pace with some great passing, making plenty of chances for attackers Tucker,Toba and Weston. Goals from Mackman,Hubbard,Toba and 4 from Weston earning him man of the match. This was a good performance from all of the 13 man squad, each player excelled in this victory.  Well done boys one game to go before we are crowned champion's.

Dagenham Park Rangers playing Home to UPR 14th March 2010

D.P.R 4 UPR 0

Our 13th game of the season wasn't unlucky for us as we moved closer to the silverware.

We took on UPR at home in what proved to be a hard but entertaining game of football.

The hole team worked very hard to tame the UPR side who proved to be a difficult side to play, in fact the score line doesn't reflect the effort the UPR boys put in.

Fantastic defense efforts from Jon Cullen, Charlie Canes, Keiron Bell and Vinnie Rolls along with our keeper and team captain Daniel Wheeler.

Midfield battle was won by Joe Mackman who scored his goal with a fantastic curler from the corner flag, Emmanuel Oni who scored a rocket from way outside the area, Tariq Saoudi, Brandon Hubbard  and Brett Smith.

Our strikers Rhys Tucker and Kai Weston also worked hard with Kai Weston being rewarded for his hard work with two goals.

Dagenham Park Rangers playing away to Boca Youth 7th March 2010

Boca Youth 2  D.P.R 2

Dagenham Park Rangers Stay Top Of The Division.

DPR visited second place and fellow League title contenders Boca Youth in what proved to be a very entertaining and evenly matched contest.

It was DPR who made the early running with some attractive and precise passing which led to Kai Weston putting DPR ahead with a great finish. Joe Mackman then showed good composure in front of goal to put DPR two ahead following another flowing move.

Despite being behind the hosts pulled a goal back before half-time and then managed to score an equalizer early on in the second half.

A combative midfield display by Emmanuel Oni and strong determined tackling by Jon Cullen and Charlie Caines ensured that the DPR defence prevented Boca from scoring again.

Tariq Saoudi who battled tirelessly, was unlucky not to be rewarded with a goal with minutes to spare but for an excellent save by the opposition goalkeeper.
Special mention also goes to goalkeeper and team captain Daniel Wheeler who collected a knock to his face following a brave save at the feet of an opposition forward.

At the final whistle the watching parents and spectators showed their appreciation to both teams for providing a great game of football that was played in an excellent spirit.

DPR displayed a show of defiance to the top two teams in their league today, reminding them, that dpr are firmly in the race for the top spot with a spectacular 8 - 0 away win.

Joe Mackman opened the score sheet for D.P.R against a tough Belonians side, another four goals

Connecting was a httrick from Kai Weston a brace from Rhys Tucker One from Joe Mackman One from Emmanuel Oni and one from Tariq Saoudi.

An absolute perfect performance from the dpr defence Chare Caines, Jon Cullen and Vinnine Rolls made any chance of a come back from Belonians impossible.

DPR 1 Leaside 0

Dpr's U9's 10th game into the season.

We were looking forward to a battle against Leaside and a battle we had, when struck with sickness of key players we choose to change our formation and play a defensive game, closing our back door to try and maintain our unbeaten run, this allowed Leaside time with the ball, after careful analysis of the first half we decided to changed the game plan slightly allowing us to bag a goal and earn our three points. With key players out and a Leaside home  team ref who insisted on coaching his team whilst reffing,  the remaining boys done well to win the game well done

Dagenham Park Rangers remain undefeated for their ninth league game of the season at home to Barn Sports.

This weekend saw D.P.R's blistering attacking pace in all its glory. Scoring their first goal within the first two minutes through a succession of skill full two-touch passes up the park. All the boys in the line up including our very recently signed Brandon Hubbard and Vinnie Rolls had a run out this weekend displaying good quality football. Joe Mackman opened the score sheet for D.P.R when the EMH keeper failed to respond quickly enough to a strike from Kai Weston.

This was to be the first goal in a very refreshing start to the second part of the 09 /10 season.

Our strong defence was tested once or twice from a good attack by EMH, but we soon had the game under control with ALL OF OUR PLAYERS showing a "true quality" playing ability.

Fantastic performance from Jon Cullen and Man of the Match Emmanuel Oni, having said that all players were on form and worked very hard to achieve another fantastic result.

D.P.R FC 4 Azetec 3

All the training between Christmas the New Year and our switch to indoor training before the forecast bad weather showed dividends for our return to the 2010 part of this season.

A tough friendly game against a good side, two divisions above us, should settle our boys for the second half of the season.

All the boys had a fantastic game, putting newly learned skills and team mates to the test. An early injury from Joe and a injured Jon (Bollard) halted our early attacking pace slightly, but we soon found our feet coming from 3 - 0 down to leveling the score. The final whistle saw one extra goal making the full time scoreline 4 - 3 Goals from Weston and Saoudi. Both injured players should be match fit for our next game.

This game was always going to be difficult for our boys, bearing in mind that Leaside Colts A are at the top of the Second Division, 47 Team Position above us.

Our boys were prepared at training to give Leaside their hardest game of the Season and give them a game, we did, All our boys worked extremely hard to keep a "tight passing Leaside" from controlling the game. An unfortunate accidental hand ball gave Leaside a penalty 4 mins from full time.

DPR playing Heath Park 18th April 2010

A well played game today by all the boys, the first half see some great defense from Johnson and Cohen-Thomas, defense was that strong the keeper James didnt really have alot to do but on the odd occassion when they did break through he saved some superb shots.
Mid-field was equilly strong with Smith and Oldrey pushing the ball up front with some great passes to Simmons and Tribe for the boys to take it all the way and finish the run the way we like it.
The second half we see McCulloch and Khalef come only to shine with some great tackles andcontinue the pace that the first half had shown, Oldrey went into goal only to save a superb attempt by heath park but they couldn't make it passed Oldrey as he was on top form today to save the goal.
McCulloch showed some real grit and determination today enjoying every minute he had on pitch and making a difference with the effort he put in, all in all this was a great game by the boys and there was so much effort put in by all of them you all deserve every bit of praise you get. WELL DONE.

DPR's u8's we're on top form today playing away to shield academy first half we had James in goal who played well, mind you the defense was held strong by Khalef and Johnson along with Cohen-Thomas getting back a few times to clear the ball Oldrey also played a strong roll in the first half in defense.
While up front we had Simmons and Tribe who really did shine along with Khalef managing to get up front on a few occasions to help out the two boys. Mid-field was very strong with McCulloch and Lewis holding well, Cohen-Thomas also came into mid-field to push the ball up front along with Smith who also done well in mid-field.
Yet another well played game by all the boys, a big well done to you all for a great game today.

DPR playing away to Belmont 14th March 2010

Today we played away to belmont juniors and what a great game it was, the first half was very eventful. Some great runs from our mid-field. Smith and McCulloch was getting the ball up front to Simmons and Tribe who both really did play well, they managed to get past the defense to do the job properly.  Then belmont got on the attack getting up but thankfully our defense was very strong today with Khalef, Cohen-Thomas, and Johnson the boys really did do well to hold belmont off in the first half on one occasion belmont did get through but our keeper Oldrey held his position done his magic. The second half was just as good with both teams really playing a good game, the second half saw Ward come on to get a few good tackles to win the ball for Simmons to make the run and finish the run superbly a few times. Tribe didn't let us down as he made a run the last half of the pitch to do business, the second half also saw Oldrey come out on pitch to play in his other strong position in defense Johnson replaced Oldrey in goal and he made some good saves as well. I would also like to say what a great team belmont juniors was to play, both teams give a 100% great game all round today. And well done to our boys you all played brilliant game.

DPR U8's Playing at Home to Cobra 7th March 2010

Another great game. First half we had some good corners taken by Simmons.

Cobra had several attempts at goal only to be saved by our little keeper James stopping them in there tracks with some great saves "A big well done to James on some great saves".

Khalef and Smith held our defense well before Smith was moved up to mid-field so Johnson could come on and shine in his usual position back in defense.

McCulloch and Cohen-Thomas played well in mid-field getting the ball up to Tribe who put a great pass into Simmons who finished it the way we like.

The second half was just as good some great throw in's from Tribe. Johnson done well coming from defense to help out with a corner only to get the result we wanted.

Iin the game today i'd like to say well done to Forecast on his first time out for DPR. Great game boys well done. We always get a good game when playing Cobra both teams are well matched, always a pleasure to see these two teams play. Well done to all great game.

There was some good defending from Owen, Brandon and Lewis always getting back where they needed to be. When Frankie and Charlie J came on they gave it everything they had, achieving some great tackle's. Frankie and Charlie J really proved themselves in this game today. Midfield was well played by Tyler and Charlie S with Tyler getting up there to finish 2 cracking runs the way we want. George put the effort in to win a tackle and get it to Yusif for him to make the run and do the job. Yet another good game and good effort by the boy's. Well done.

Another good effort from the D.P.R. boys today they put in all they had in the wind and rain some good saves by the keeper Aiden. The mid-field was strong as always Tyler, Charlie and Frankie in the first half and then Lewis came on to give Frankie a break and Lewis the chance on the pitch. There was some great strikes by Tyler only to go a bit wide like wise Charlie made some great attempts but unfotunately didnt get it there. Charlie,George and Owen put in some good runs to push the ball up for Yusif to finish it off . All in all it was a good game and the boys played well considering it was there first game in heavy rain and wind, get used to it boys more to come. Well done.
