 D.P.R Under 11's Away To Cobra A 20th March 11

Dagenham Park Rangers 2-5 Cobra A

We kicked off our last game of the season away to Cobra A and based on last few performances I thought we were going to go out on a win. Well I was mistaken. I could blame the state of the pitch, saying due to tyre marks, divots and dog mess we could not play our normal flow of football, but the one thing you can say about D.P.R we dont blame anything or anyone but ourselves for what was a bad peformance. We were put under pressure immediately, right from the kick off, this continued for the full 60 minutes and the pressure did not ease for our keeper and defence and if was not for some fantastic saves and stops from our keeper and defence it could have reach double figures, so well done Daniel and the back 4, 60 mins of pressure is a lot to handle. We had very few chances throughout the game, but the 2 chances we had Tommy took full advantage and scored 2 fantastic goals (Well Done Tommy). There is not much I can say about todays performance other than we battled hard at times, but the team spirit and enthusiasm just was not there today. Cobra wanted it more than us and that was plainly obvious. On a positive note a few boys were outstanding. It just leaves me to say: Thanks for an enjoyable season, thanks for the highs and lows and what are we all going to do on sundays mornings now?

Presentation evening is just around the corner Good Luck To You All.

Today's Team Line Up: Captain Bobby, Daniel, Billy, Jack, Harry, Matthew, Kieran, Joe, Mitchell, Tommy and Taylor

DPR away to Rushingham 24th Oct 2010

Rushingham 0 - 2 DPR

DPR U10's A. Continued there league campaign with the top three with a convincing win over Rushingham.

Rushingham started the game well with an early attack at the DPR defence, catching us out briefly. Defending for DPR was Kai Papps and Jon Cullen who read the situation well to gain possession and pass the ball back to our midfield for a rapid counter attack lead by Jack Sawyer and Tariq Saoudi, who placed the ball at Kai Weston to put Rushingham under their first real pressure, firing an on target shot at near post. The Rushingham keeper just pushed out for a DPR corner. From now on, the game was won in midfield by DPR'S Joe Mackman, Jack Sawyer and Tariq Saoudi who battled tirelessly and won nearly every ball. Backing up the midfield was Kai Papps and Jon Cullen who also played fantastic. Five minutes from the half time whistle Joe Mackman planted the ball into the back of Rushinghams net to put DPR up 1-0. Very briefly into the second half Kai Weston picked up a knee injury that would retire him from this game, replacing him was OluwaToba Adedji as centre forward who made his mark only to be pulled up early and had to be replaced by Brandon Hubbard who came on and within minutes turned the game on its head by nailing home our second goal with a fantastic strike. Coming on near the games end was, powerful defender, Vinnie Rolls to keep us from conceding any goals. Last but not least is our keeper Daniel Wheeler for making two or three fantastic saves. Man of The Match goes to Kai Papps for an outstanding defensive roll. Goals Mackman 1 Hubbard 1

Line Up Daniel Wheeler, Joe Mackman, Kai Weston, Kai Papps, Tariq Saoudi, Jack Sawyer, Jon Cullen, Vinnie Rolls, OluwToba Adedji, Brandon Hubbard

Dagenham United v Dagenham Park Rangers 'A'

DPR 'A' kicked off their first ever league game with a local derby away at Dagenham United.

Early pressure by the DPR attack consisting of Tyrese, Jessie, Daniel and Reiss backed up by
strong defending by Ryan, Dylan and confident goalkeeping by Teddy meant that DPR looked a strong side.

At the start of the second half Teddy moved into the right midfield position, with Reiss dropping
back into defence and Ryan taking up position between the sticks. Tyrese, Daniel, Jessie and Teddy

continued to bombard the opposition defence and managed to look convincing in the first half.

This wasn't totally one way traffic as some good attacking play by Dagenham United made sure the DPR defence was kept on it's toes, and resolute defending by Reiss, Dylan and Ryan ensured the DPR goal wasn't breached.

At the final whistle both teams showed their appreciation of each other and after match chips were
enjoyed by the hungry DPR team.

Well done boys, chips well deserved !!!

Team: Teddy, Dyaln, Ryan, Reiss, Jessie, Daniel, Teddy

D.P.R Under 11's Away To Senrab A 27th Feb 11

Dagenham Park Rangers 2-2 Senrab A

Iam writing this report at 2:30pm Sunday Afternoon and I still have a smile on my face and I bet all the other parents including Rob and Glenn also have big smiles. What can I say?Our last meeting with Senrab A we lost 7-3 and based on our last few games we all had a good feeling about today's game. We kicked off and straight away we dominated the game. Early on Senrab got a break and it was their forward against our keeper Dan, Dan done everything right, come off his line quickly diving at the players feet but unfortunately got the player and the Ref awarded a penalty. Daniel made himself big and made a fantastic save (WELL DONE DAN). We continued to dominate the game and just outside the box we were awarded a free kick.  Dayo held his composure and scored a superb goal (WELL DONE DAYO). With about 10 seconds of the first half left we were awarded a corner on the brink of half time Harrison stepped up, took a lovely corner which Joe scored,  beautiful goal (WELL DONE JOE)  making it 2-0. Second half we again had most, if not all of the possession. With about 15 mins left to play we lost concentration and Senrab scored 2 quick goals on the bounce, but we held on and the game finished 2-2. I would just like to say a big thank you to the players who today were truly outstanding they are: Jack, Daniel, Taylor, Dayo, Josh, Harrison, Joe, Kieran, Ronnie, Tommy, Mitchell, Joe Wilson, Harry, Billy, Bobby And Matthew.

Again boys it was a pleasure to watch, we saw passion, flare and true team spirit.

Thanks for the ups's and downs this season but most importantly the smiles you put on our faces.

D.P.R Under 11's At Home To Barking F.C 20th Feb 11

Dagenham Park Rangers 2-1 Barking F.C

We kicked off our last game at home against Barking and based on last weeks outstanding performance there was high hopes of a win. The game kicked off at a very fast pace with some excellent football being played. We had the majority of the possession and we put a lot of pressure on their goal.  Barking got an early break and scored a good goal making it 1-0. What was nice to see our heads did not drop and all I saw was true fighting spirit from each player.  Just before half time we got a corner Joe stepped up and took a great corner which Joe Wilson headed and scored a lovely goal making it 1-1.  Shortly after Barking broke again and our keeper Daniel through himself at the forward saving a great shot allowing us to go in at half time 1-1. The second half kicked off with the same pace and we had shot after shot and could not score (Well Done To Barking's Keeper). Tommy broke free and just inside the box was brought down and we was awarded a penalty. Tommy stepped up, held his composure and scored a very good penalty making it 2-1. We continued to put pressure on Barking's goal. Then with 3 minutes to go Barking broke through with Dayo in pursuit just inside our box, Dayo executed a professional style tackle which I believe saved us the game, Outstanding Dayo. We won the game 2-1.

Well Boy's We Found Our Mojo!!  Our last game at home and we finished it with a win. You are a newly formed squad and to see you improve week on week has been a pleasure to watch Thank You Boys for giving us an enjoyable season we only have 2 games left GOOD LUCK!!

Romford Colts 1 DPR 'B' 0 12th Sept 2010

DPR Under 10's 'B' kicked off their first ever league game on a fine sunday morning away at Romford Colts.

The DPR midfield of Jake Jestico, Alfie Rees and Brett Smith quickly took control of the game and applied constant pressure on the Romford Colts defense who were forced to concede a number of throw ins and corners, from which Rhys Tucker made sure that Colts were kept on the back foot. When
Romford Colts occasionally broke forward defenders Harry Spears, Jack Ritchies and the tireless
running of Alfie Rees made sure that keeper Blake Yang was given a quiet first half. The boys went
into the half time break with the belief that a win was within their grasp.

Again at the start of the second half DPR were straight onto the front foot forcing the Romford
Colts keeper into some brave saves, but as DPR pushed on to find the goal they deserved Colts broke
away to score from their first effort on goal. Despite going the goal down DPR continued to push
forward in search of an equalizer and the attacking play occasionally saw Romford Colts break away
in pursuit of a second, but some well timed challenges from Harry Spears and Kieron Bell and also a
commanding performance fom keeper Blake Yang ensured the DPR goal wasn't breached any further. At
the opposition end some nice play and dangerous runs by Ben Morgan, Jake Jestico, Alfie Rees and
Brett Smith continued to force the Colts into some last ditch defensive duties which in the end
ensured their team walked away from the game with all the points.

DPR can come away from this game with their heads held firmly high and with the knowledge that they
were very unlucky not to have won this encounter.

Boys all the parents were very proud of the effort and never say never say die attitude that you
showed today!!!

Line up: Blake Yang, Harry Spears, Jack Ritchie's, Alfie Rees, Jake Jestico, Brett Smith, Rhys Tucker,
Ben Morgan, Kieron Bell.

Barn Sports 3 Dagenham Park Rangers "B" 2

This was a fast tough game from the start, with Barnes Sports taking the early lead.

An equalizer from captain Rhys Tucker getting us back into the game. Then with a good run and pass from Onyema to set up Rhys for a second goal.

In the second half DPR pushed for a third goal, however Barnes sport managed to break our defense and get an equalizer.

Late on barnes sport got the wining goal to take 3pts and win 3-2. All DPR boys played very well Alfie Rees earning Man of the Match with his tireless running.

Well done all you boys we are very proud of all of you.

Line up: Blake Yang, Harry Spears, Jack Riches, Brett Smith, Rhys Tucker, Jake Jestico, Onyema Chima, Ben Morgan, Jevan Bhatti and Kieron Bell.

DPR 1 Jays 1

This was a hard but fair match from the start. In the first half, Jays youth pushing for an early goal, however some outstanding and brave saves from our keeper blake kept us in the game. Defenders Rhys and Harry doing there job when called upon. Our boys pushing Jays back and putting them under pressure,

some excellent football from Jake, Onyema, Brett and and Alfie finally breaking Jays defense for Alfie to put us in front. In the second half Jays were pushing for the equalizer they got a penalty which they fortunately missed. Excellent defending from kieron and harry kept them at bay.

Then somehow we conceded an own goal to finish a great match all level.

Line Up:

D.P.R Under 11's Playing Away To Barking F.C 13th Feb 11

Dagenham Park Rangers 1-1 Barking F.C

On a cold & windy afternoon we kick off away to Barking F.C. We dominated the whole of the first half with chance after chance. To be fair to many to count, over the post,  just wide of the post, but we just could not score everyone was doing their job, from the goalkeeper through to the forwards, then just before half time all the boys hard work paid off with a cross in which touch 2 players before Joe connected and scored (Well Done Joe). We went in 1-0 up and know disrespect to Barking we should have been 5-0 up, but, none the less a great and exciting 1st half. 2nd half again we dominated the first 20 minutes but, again we could not score. We also had some bad decisions made by the referee and from where I was standing we should have had 2 penalties. With just 10 minutes to go we lost concentration and Barking broke and scored a very good goal which made it 1-1. What was nice to see was our heads did not drop and we continued to fight. After 60 minutes the game finished 1-1. In some other match reports I have mention we showed no passion. Well today boys we had passion, flair and fighting spirit. We wanted to win today and that was clear, you dug deep all of you it was a pleasure to watch and each one of you today gave 110%. If you boys show that much passion in the next game I promise the goals will come. We have now found it so don't lose it. There are not many games left until the end of the season lets go out with a BANG!!! Good Luck Next Week.

D.P.R Under 11's At Home to Senrab 6th Feb 11

Dagenham Park Rangers 3-7 Senrab A

Well "What A Difference A Week Make's"  Where do we start? More importantly where do we go from here. The game started at very fast pace and Senrab's goal came very early on, other than a couple of chances Senrab dominated the 1st half and a few bad decisions by the ref, created two further goals and the pressure continued for the rest of the 1st half with Senrab scoring their 4th goal just before half time. 2nd half was much the same with only a few boys showing their full commitment. It almost felt like we were asleep for the first 40 minutes. Congratulations to the 3 goal scorers Matthew, Tommy and Joe (great to have you back after injury, we have missed you Joe). The game finished 7-3 to Senrab. Unfortunately I would love to talk about passion, commitment and flair but, today it just was not there. As parents we don't care if you lose the game if we can see you have put in 100% effort and work rate. Well done to the few players that week in week out give 100%. The training that Rob and Brett give you is Top Draw but they cannot play the games for you, Sunday is your time to shine and unless we get the passion and commitment from all players We Will Not Win Games!!!!. So Come On Boys dig deep inside find that passion and release it in next week's game. What we need is TEAM WORK!!!!

D.P.R  Home to Colebrook Royals 30th January 2011

Dagenham Park Rangers 4-3 Colebrook Royals

Wow, Where do we start? On a bitter, cold January morning, our 2nd game of 2011 kicks of against Colebrook Royals with high hopes of our 1st win looming. Can our Boys take what they learn in training to the pitch? Answer: Oh Yes They Can!! They started the first half full of passion and team spirit. Our first goal came early on with an outstanding goal by Matthew taken like a true professional. We had a great flow of football, 1st to every ball and some great first touches. Even when we were under pressure, our defence was strong and our keeper outstanding. Our 2nd goal came just before half time with a great through ball to Matthew who held his composure and chipped the keeper with such precision making it 2-0 at half time. Rob and Brett's team talk must have been easy "carry on with what your doing". We came out the 2nd half with the same passion and commitment as in the 1st half. Our third goal come from a short corner laid on to Bobby, who crossed the ball in, which Ronnie headed into the goal, making it 3-0. Shortly after Colebrook got a goal back making it 3-1. We then got another corner which was well taken by Tommy and well executed by Jack making it 4-1. Colebrook never gave up and they come back to score two further goals and the game finished 4-3. Today we see 100% commitment from every player, you all deserved to be in the starting 11 today it was a pleasure to watch.  I know from speaking to all parents, Rob & Brett we were all so proud but most importantly you should be proud of yourselves, great team spirit. In one word boys OUTSTANDING.

DPR @ Home To Buckhurst Hill 9th January 2011

 DPR 1 Buckhurst Hill 6

Well, on a cold frosty, but, sunny morning our first Game of 2011 kicks off against Buckhurst Hill at home. The first 20 minutes started well with some great chances and good amount pressure put on Buckhurst Hill. Our defence was strong and it was looking like being our first win of 2011. We was mistaken, with Buckhurst Hill scoring a very good 1st goal and their 2nd goal, which came shortly after hitting the post first then being kicked back in just out of the reach of our keeper, making it 2-0 at half time. We came out 2nd half as we had finished 2nd to every ball played, with no passion or urgency, which was disappointing as in training you boys are flawless. We gained a free kick early on, Dayo stepped up and scored an exceptional goal, bottom left hand corner, making it 2-1 (Well Done Dayo). You would have thought this would have raised our heads and turned on the passion for us to come back and win, sadly it did not and before we knew it, it was 3-1, 4-1, 5-1 and finally ended 6-1. Boys you work so hard in training and give 100% you are not taking that same commitment to the pitch with the exception of a few players. This is your time to be the Rooney, Ronaldo and Beckham that you dream about. This is your time to shine and show Rob why you should be in that starting 11, feel proud to wear the shirt. Rob and Brett give up many hours of their spare time to coach you boys and all they ask for in return is 100% commitment on match days. Things must change boys!!!!. We have Buckhurst Hill again next week in the cup. Let's do it boys, not for Mum & Dad, for yourselves. If you can walk of the pitch after 60 minutes and say you have given it your all that's all anyone can ask of you. Good Luck Next Week.

Today's Team Line Up: Captain Bobby, Daniel, Billy, Dayo, Mitchell, Jack,  Harrison, Kieran, Joe, Tommy and Matthew. Sub's Harry, Ronnie, Josh, And Taylor

DPR Playing Away to Senrab Dec 12th 2010

D.P.R 0 - 4 Senrab B

D.P.R started the first half very strong and dominated the first 15 mins, a great amount of pressure put on Senrab B with lots of great football, unfortunately we could not finish so credit to Senrab's strong defence. As we know from playing Senrab before give them an inch and they will take a mile and that's exactly what they did, two breaks on our goal which equalled 2 goals, hats of to their number 10 with a well executed 2nd goal. We went in 2-0 at half time. The 2nd half both teams had equal possession, but I feel Senrab B had the edge, which lead to them scoring from a mistake made in midfield creating their 3rd goal. We had some lovely movement at times with some great first and second touches. The 4th goal, which was an own goal, came in the last 5 mins and was a mistake between goalkeeper and defence. But if the ball is lost in midfield and creates a goal it's quickly forgotten if it's made by goal keeper or defence it's REMEMBERED!! So heads up boys as you have saved us on many occasions.

And remember we are a team in the good times and we must be a great team through the bad times. Make sure you give your team mates your full support. We have a great captain lead from his example.

I would like to think we are true to ourselves and even though there was some good performances today from a number of players We Know We Can Do Better.

Today's Team Line Up: Captain Bobby, Daniel, Billy, Dayo, Mitchel, Harry, Jack, Matthew, Harrison, Ronnie, Joe and Taylor Sub's Ronnie, Josh, Kieran And Taylor

D.P.R Playing at home to Cobra A

DPR F.C. 3 - Cobra 3

The season has started and what a start for the u11s. Within the first 10 minutes Cobra was 2-0 up but did our boys heads drop? "NO THEY DID NOT". They come back with fighting spirit.

Harry scored a blinding goal, making it his 1st goal in competitive football, (well done Harry).

That lifted the teams spirits just on the brink of half time.

After Rob and Glenn's team talk the boys come out second half with true fighting spirit. Ronnie come on from the side line and scored a scorcher from a corner, with his right hitting bottom corner. This was so well executed and not only his first goal for D.P.R but it was his first touch of the game, which made it 2-2. Glenn and Rob then switched players putting Joe up front, Cobra's keeper did not clear well and Joe read the game, and with his speed took the keeper on and scored making it 3-2.

We thought we had the game won but in the dying minutes Cobra equalized. The game finished 3-3. But WOW!! what a game, all our boys where truly outstanding.

Rob, Glenn and all parents where so proud.

D.P.R Playing away to Buckhurst Hill

D.P.R 1 - 1 Buckhurst Hill

First of all thanks for an enjoyable game Buckhurst Hill.

D.P.R started the first half very strong and dominated the best part of the first half. Buckhurst Hill had two very good chances in the first half, but Daniel made two fantastic saves allowing us to go in 0-0 at half time. 2nd half both teams had equal possession, but I feel Buckhurst Hill had the edge for part of the game, which lead to them scoring from a corner which we should have cleared but none the less a good goal. D.P.R did not seem to have the passion to win the game, but with 10 mins to go we seem to get the spirit to win and Mitchell's shot for goal which was deflected off the defenders foot and went in making it 1-1.

I would like to think we are honest and true to ourselves and even though there was some outstanding performances today from a number of players, especially Joe and Billy your work rate was was outstanding. But I Feel As A Team We Know We Can Do Better.

Well Done Bobby you put in a great performance and we are so happy we have our captain back where he belongs on the pitch.

Would just like to say well done to Buckhurst Hill seeing you only had 10 men you more than held your own.

Playing away to Cobra 12th Sept 2010

Cobra 2 - DPR 2

A great start to our first league game, The boys have been looking forward to the start of this season and they came out strong.

In the first half was a pass from Simmons to set up Oldrey for a great goal.

There was some great runs from the back bringing Johnson up  with Tribe and Simmons, McCulloch wasn't far behind battling well for the ball.
The first half our keeper James didn't really have allot to do as the defense was strong with Oldrey and Creasey holding Cobra off well.

The second half see Cobra get 2 goals in a matter of 10 mins, with both the goals just slipping past James' fingers, but then Simmons made a great run from the half way line to bury the ball in the net to get us back in the game.

Great game had by both teams.

I would also like to thank one our parents that helped out by reffing the game for Cobra, Graham Oldrey done us proud well done.

Line up: Simmons,Oldrey,Tribe,McCulloch,Johnson,James,Creasey.

Playing  Home 19th Sept DPR 1 - East Thurrock Utd "C" 4

The first half see East Thurrock slip past our defense to get a goal within the first few minutes, the ball just just skimming Johnsons finger tips, the opposition then managed to slip in again to get a second goal.

Halfway into the first half we see a great run by Simmons and Tribe pushing forward and finally getting the ball into Smith, who sunk it straight into the back of the net, this helped to lift our spirits.

In defense our new boy was out for his first run, Wright was in defense with Creasey, they both worked hard and gave there all.

The start of the second half the boys came out keen and trying hard with Oldrey and McCulloch making some great tackles, pushing the ball into mid-field to Khalef but the defense was just a bit to strong for them to make it and get another goal.

Halfway into the second half we had Oldrey in goal working hard as always but one just managed to slip past him.

We also see James in goal for part of the second half and again by chance they managed another goal but this didn't stop our boys working hard and trying there hardest.

Well done boys keep your heads up you all played a great game.

Line up: Simmons,Oldrey,Tribe,McCulloch,Smith,Khalef,James,Creasey,Wright,Johnson.

DPR U9's Playing Away To UPR

DPR 2 - UPR 1.

A nice away win for the boys today all the boys came out hungry for a win and that's what they done, the first half see upr get the first goal just skimming Oldrey's hands and getting that first goal.
Then Simmons makes a run up front from  the right side and gets in the middle to finish with that equalizing goal for dpr, there some was some great battles for the ball from Wright and  Khalef  our defenders  stopping upr from getting near the goal.
The second half  see James in goal who really did save some hard shots, Tribe came up trumps as well getting that second goal  that secured the win for dpr .
The boys today showed great strength McCulloch and Creasey put the effort in to get the ball clear on numerous occasions, Smith put some strong tackles in and all in all they worked hard and got what they set out to do and that was to win the game.
