Under 12's Match Report Page Season 2011/12

D.P.R Under 12's Away To Millwall Albion

D P R  6 - 0 Millwall Albion

I'am writing this report at 2pm Sunday Afternoon and I still have a
smile on my face and I bet all the other parents including Rob, Glenn
and Brett also have big smiles. What can I say? Our new season of 2011
kicked off with a BANG!!!! We started the first 5 minutes of the first
half in a little bit of a panic. But then it all clicked into place
and we switched on. Man did we switch on. As soon as the first goal
was scored we were unstoppable, every player showed passion, flair and
skill we kept the ball at our feet and we played a high level of
football today. Your work rate was awesome. Today we see the
Beckham's, Ronaldo's and Rooney's of the future. We smashed in 5
amazing goals in the first half and not one easy goal scored. Every
goal was well worked with some of the best Runs, Passes & Set Play's.
Everything you boys learnt pre-season was shown in the 1st 30 minutes.
Well done to the 5 goal scorers Jake, Tommy x2, Matt and Bobby. The
2nd half kicked off much the same as the first half finished with us
having nearly all of the possession. We did not tire as a team for a
minute, the focus of every player was second to none with no mistakes,
just a high level of football being played. The 6th goal went in by
our newly signed player Adam (WELL DONE). This is Adams 1st goal and
what a lovely finish it was. The game finished 6-0. Well done to every
player today hopefully this has shown you with Rob, Glen and Brett's
guidance you can and will be an outstanding football team.

D.P.R Under 12's Home To Thurrock Green

Dagenham Park Rangers 1-0 Thurrock Green

On a bright sunny afternoon our 2nd game kicked off at our new home
ground,The Warren and after last weeks performance you could feel the
excitement in the air. The first half kicked of like last weeks game
with the team in a panic, but where as at last weeks game it all
clicked in to place this week it did not. We had a few great chances
with Tommy hitting the bar, then Joe with a lovely cross to Jake who
hit it cleanly on the volley, but Thurrocks keeper made a fantastic
save and denied us a goal. Thurrock also had a few chances but the
back 4 were switch on and our keeper Daniel was fast off the line on a
number of occasions to deny Thurrock a goal. We were 2nd to the ball
for most of the 1st half a complete change from last weeks performance
and what was disappointing to see, most of all, there seemed to be no
team spirit, don't blame each other and get frustrated, praise and
encourage each other that's what makes a winning team . We went in at
half time 0-0 with some controversial  decisions  from the Ref.

2nd half we kicked of a different team, the quality of football was
much better, the half time team talk must have worked, we were back to
our old selves, not getting frustrated but playing a great level of
football with some great runs and set plays. The back 4 were solid, the
midfield strong and the forwards had skill and pace. The best set play
of the day was the goal, Tommy pass to Joe who made the run then knock
through to Matthew who made a great run and even a better finish WELL
DONE MATT. Up to the last 5 minutes of the 2nd half we had the
majority of the possession. We were put under pressure for the last
dying  minutes, but the whistle went and we secured the 3 points.

Every player in the 2nd half gave 110% really well done to all of you
for pulling it back you deserved the Win.
